Deborah Lippmann Dupes Researched Part 2!
A few months ago I had a post about some Deborah Lippmann Dupes I’ve found. I don’t personally own any D.L nail polishes but compared to seeing them online/swatches from other bloggers I would say they are pretty close!

Lollipop = D.L Candy shop

Sea Dust = D.L Mermaids Dream

Dust = D.L today was a fairy tale. I tried a variety of blue bases to make the color more opaque on my thumb, index, and ring finger, a silver polish on my middle finger, and no base on my pinky.
Whether these are exact dupes or not, Urban Outfitter polishes are always 2 for $8 vs one D.L polish $20. Urban’s polishes are always opaque and you get so much product! I love finding dupes! Have you found dupes to anything lately!? Let me know!

Day 7: 50 day make up challenge.
Day 07: Favorite eye shadow color?
MAC’s expensive pink. It’s a perfect golden pink that looks great on all kinds of skin tones! I love it as a wash all over the lid and then transforming it into a brown smokey eye.
Dupes I’ve found: Wet n wild’s penny eyeshadow looks very similar when swatched. Also NYC’s limited edition eyeshadow duo brighton beach from their city sweets collection. Amarixe has a great review.
ULTA is my weakness…
So I usually post something about a birch box or glam bag but unfortunately I had to punish myself and cancel for this month because I have been buying way to much stuff this month. Like this ULTA haul…

Revlon nail polish in smoldering, sparkling, and whimsical. Physicians formula Happy Booster Blush in warm, and their nude palette. Eco tools retractable powder brush, (I’ve been wanting this for a while and its so great and compact for travel) and the Japonesque travel eyelash curler. (So cute and compact and works very well, plus free refills for life!) I also got three free samples of Escada perfume (my favorite brand of perfume), murad renewing eye cream, and a sample of argon oil for my hair.

I think the nude palette for Physicians formula is quite nice. It can be used wet or dry and I love how tiny this palette is! (About two match boxes) All the colors are shimmery and the below swatches are dry. I need to use this more to know how I really feel about this palette, but the compact design for me as a student who gets ready in her car is perfect.

Revlon swatches of Smoldering, Sparkling, and Whimsical. Sparkling and Whimsical is part of my researched dupes for Deborah Lippmann polishes I posted. I finally found them at ULTA! I think these colors are great! The Smoldering is a duo chrome polish with hints of purplish greens. Whimsical reminds me of cake icing but needs a white base coat like marshmallow by Essie. Sparkling is very pretty and girly and I can’t wait to wear it over some polishes.

Overall success + fail for spending money. I really should slow down with the polishes. What beauty store is your weakness?
Deborah Lippmann dupes researched.

It seems to me like there has been this on going dupe battle between drugstore nail polishes and Deborah Lippmann polishes. I finally found the Revlon’s ”fiery fushia”($3) now called ”scandalous” dupe for Deborah’s ”bad romance” ($18). You can compare my swatch to the actual Deborah Lippmann swatch on cute-as-a-button nails since I do not own the original. This took me three coats and I think It works great! I love the color and I almost want to go back to target for a back up!
Other dupes I’ve researched:
Nailing It posted a dupe for Lippmann’s “accross the universe” as Essence’s “blue addicted”.
Nouveau cheap blogged about Deborah Lippmann’s “glitter in the air” dupe as Revlon’s “whimsical”, and also posted about the dupe for Deborah’s “happy birthday” dupes as Wet n Wild “party of five glitters”, and Milani gems “2.0”
Judixo shows swatches of Deborah’s “some enchanted evening” next to Revlon’s “sparkling”. She also has a full review.
It seems to me like these are some legit dupes and should be worth trying since they are a fraction of the cost! Have you found any other dupes? Let me know!
